Governor Deal said to accept “the world around us is changing”. But instead I choose to accept that the Word of God remains true and never changes. Who will stand and fight to protect the Body of Christ? Labeling me hateful and trying to silence my voice for what I believe goes against my right of free speech. Too many leaders are leaving truth under the pressure of public opinion, and unfortunately I’m not just talking about politicians. Someone leading a church for money, power, and fame is a hireling and not a true shepherd. We need true shepherds to stand up to care for and protect both people and the integrity of God’s Word. God was, God is, and God will forever be, and we should appreciate the fact that He never changes, because where would we be if He treated us like we treat each other? He has every right to change His mind and end this world, but He continues to patiently give us a chance with grace and mercy. Make it count; stand for truth even if it hurts.
