I fell asleep watching Detroit and Cleveland play, and when I woke up, I woke up preaching.  I wanted to share the words that came to me and I pray that others can be just as blessed and encouraged as I was.

Mark 13:7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

Exodus 3:14   And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

God is!  In the midst of all we go through, in the midst of our temptations, challenges, struggles, hardships, illnesses, pain, heartache, financial distress we must remember that God is…  We must remember that God leaves this statement open so that He becomes whatever we need.  He adapts to whatever you are going through, and as long as you trust Him, He becomes that need.

So what business do we have worrying about tomorrow?  What business do we have stressed about our circumstances when God is?  For when we are troubled and we step back and remember that God is, God is our peace.   When we have pain in our body, God is our healing.  When we have sorrows, God is our joy.  When we go through financial problems, God is our currency, as He supplies all of our needs through His riches in glory.  If we be His child, if we be joint heirs, if we be a part of the royal family, then what business do we have saying that we are poor?  That we are broke?  That we have nothing?  For with God we have everything!  For with God we are rich!  For with God all things are possible!

When you are lonely, God is your company.  When you are weak, God is your strength.  When you are tempted, God is you way of escape.  When people try to bring you down, God is your exaltation.  When you stumble, God is your balance.  When you have a broken heart, God is your mender.  When you are trying to figure it out, God is your answer.  Whatever your circumstance, whatever it is you are facing, trust God, for God is.  God, that great I AM.  He is that He is, and He is everything.   He being everything, that means everything you need is in Him.   Remember, God is!

If you are depressed, God is your right mind.  If you are struggling, God is your breakthrough.  If you have addictions, God is your withdrawal.  If you have a void, God is your fill.   If you have a loss, God is your replacement.   If you have problems, God is your solution.  The key to all of this being enacted into your life, is you have to step back and remember that God is.  Be not dismayed, because God is!  Be not troubled because God is!  Daniel rested in the lion’s den because He knew that God is!  Joshua faced the great army to possess the land because He knew that God is!  David slew Goliath because He knew that God is!  Paul put his hand in the fire, because he knew that God is!  If David can slay his giant, so can you!  If Paul can withstand the fire, so can you!  If Daniel can rest in danger, so can you!  If Joshua could possess the promise, so can you!

Do it God’s way.  Follow His word, obey His command, walk in His statutes.  Then shall you be blessed in the city, blessed in the field, blessed when you come and when you go.  With God, you are everything.  Without God, you are nothing. If God is not in what you are doing, you are only setting yourself up for failure.   When you do it in alignment with His Word, you are setting yourself up for victory! So no matter what it is, remember that GOD IS!  I love you in Jesus’ name, Amen.
