In closing, this verse let’s us know what is in us; in us is Jesus Christ. Along with having Jesus Christ in us comes along with power. How much power? All power! So if all power is in you, and God has already promised those who are of God victory, how is it that we allow the world to stress us? How is it that we can have a defeated mentality when God has already declared us the winners? We cannot enter the winners circle until we change our way of thinking. There is nothing greater in the world that the Christ that is in you. But in the words of Gatorade, “Is it in you?” That is the most important question, to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that not only do you believe Jesus to be the Son of God, but that the Son of God is in you. When you know this to be a fact, then should you know that you are already victorious even in those things that have not yet even come your way. The devices that the enemy is setting for you have already been guaranteed to fail. The weapons that the devil is forming for you will not be successful. Satan is at his drawing board drawing up a plan to defeat you, but the truth of the matter is no matter how great a plan he creates, greater is He that is in you. And because you are of God, you overcome the world, including its ruler!
