Oh Lord that you bless my friends tonight. Watch over them as they sleep and grant them peace. Grant them the peace which passes all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Draw nigh to them Lord as they draw nigh to you. Give them a thirst that can only be quenched from the water that flows from you. Give them a hunger that can only be satisfied by the bread of life. Give them the wisdom and after obtaining it, give them the understanding of that wisdom.
Guide them oh Lord down their paths and be the light by their feet so that it is clear in which direction they should go. That relative who has gone out, Lord bring them home to safety. Calm anger Lord, so that your will and way can be known in that relationship. Bring that relative out of the hospital in a way that those around him will know that it could only be you Lord. And get the glory from it all. Take the glory from our lives Lord for your pleasure. Use us according to your will Lord as vessels of your praise. Let us, your vessels, be filled with all the things that are of you. Let us carry your fruit and feed them to the nations.
Let love overflow in us Lord, spreading out to those around us. Let your love shine bright as the sun in us Lord and lead us to those who need your love. Teach us to give from our hearts and be there for those in need. Lead us into the communities to take care of the sick, the fatherless, the widows, and the elderly. Let us be leaders in the streets, leading the lost so that they may be found. Give us the strength to endure opposition as we proclaim your gospel.
Now Lord, when they awake, let them awaken to a bright sunshine. Let them wake up ready to receive you. Let the service they attend be filled with a worship that rages like a mighty wind. Fill the temples with your shekinah glory. And most importantly, speak a word to the people and bring life. For those that are attending, bless their Pastors. Bless them with strength and endurance to care for the people. Bless them with a rhema word. For those that are teaching and/or the Pastor, give them a Word that will be the water and bread from heaven. Let them teach like a mighty bugle to ready the people to wake up and prepare for a new day.
Finally Lord, whatever petition is being made to you tonight, I touch and agree with that prayer and ask that you would hear their cries and grant the prayers of all my friends, and the friends of those friends, and their families. Prosper their ministries. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit I pray….thank you Jesus and Amen.
